Food Pyramid

I am not sure about other households, but we seem to use a lot of food coloring around here. I'm convinced it's part of the food pyramid. Maybe it's for lack of imagination when it comes to cooking on my part, or maybe it's just that my kids think everything tastes better if it's a crazy color. The only time this was not a hit was when we tried it on oatmeal. But I think I'm blaming the fact that they don't like oatmeal for that one.

They love pancakes. I love that I don't have to put much thought into pancakes. We have pancakes a lot when their daddy is working late. I am getting to the point where I may have to start doubling the batch though, because Jericho can eat about 4 pancakes by himself. I'm genuinely terrified for when he's 16.

As you can see, he generally doesn't care what color his food is as long as their is a lot of it. Green pancakes are hilarious, obviously.

Mustache March

I'm not sure where I heard about mustache March. I guess it's kind of like no-shave november for your upper lip. Since my husband is not allowed to sport a lonely 'stache, maybe the kids are showing their support? Happy March, guys! ;)

Missing Link

I have found a real live Neanderthal. No need to continue looking for the missing link, evolutionists. ;) This poor child needs to learn to walk for his own sanity, but I have to admit he's getting pretty creative at finding methods of getting around that aren't quite walking.

Yes, I do have favorites. Four of them, actually. I think they are pretty great. And thankfully, I think they kind of like me, too.

I think that they've got their daddy wrapped around their little fingers, too. But that's alright...since he's got their names inked on his arm. :)

Friday is Funny

This was from the other day, but I thought that maybe it would be a good way to kick off the weekend. A little hilarity (in this case, over Jericho simply burping) is always good for the soul. Jericho is kind of like the court jester around here...if he isn't irritating the other hooligans by snatching their stuff and crawling away at lighnting speed, his doing stuff he probably shouldn't be doing to crack them up. Never dull. Hope your Friday is full of funny, too!
